Velazquez
Artists · Spain
Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez (Spanish: Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez, June 6, 1599 - August 6, 1660) was a painter of the late Renaissance, Baroque era, and Spanish Golden Age. He greatly inspired later painters. Francisco Goya considered him "one of his great teachers." He usually only painted what he saw, and the characters he painted were described as almost walking out of the picture; he also painted religious paintings, which were like the human world, full of tension and pain; the horses and dogs he painted were full of vitality. Due to Spain's strict religious policies, most of his works were originally collected in Madrid museums and were unknown to the outside world. During the French invasion of Spain in 1811, they became known to the outside world. However, the occupation forces did not destroy or steal these paintings because they wanted the public to appreciate them. After appraisal by the appraiser Curtis, 274 works of Velazquez exist in the world, of which 121 are in the UK, 13 in France, 12 in Austria, 7 in Russia, and 7 in Germany. However, Brut believes that only 14 of the works in the UK are his authentic works. Most of his remaining works are collected in the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain, with more than 60 pieces on display. Art historians divide his works into three periods, the first period before his first visit to Italy, and the third period after his second visit to Italy. However, Velazquez's works are rarely dated and can only be divided based on the painting style.

Antonio da Correggio
Artists · Signoria di Correggio
Antonio Allegri da Correggio (Italian: Antonio Allegri da Correggio, Italian pronunciation: [korˈreddʒo]; August 1489 - March 5, 1534), often called Correggio (also translated as Correggio), was an Italian painter. He was the founder of the Parma School of Renaissance painting and created some of the most vigorous and luxurious paintings of the 16th century. His painting style inspired Baroque art, and his beautiful style influenced France in the 18th century. The master's most influential mural is the trompe l'oeil art dome fresco "The Assumption of the Virgin" in the Cathedral of Parma in the old town of Parma, Italy. This fresco uses elevation perspective, that is, a perspective method from low to high, which shortens the proportion of the human body at the farthest point. It also uses swirling clouds to create a visual illusion, forming a virtual sky, creating the illusion of infinite extension to higher places. The technique of this mural was highly praised and it is regarded as one of the masterpieces of trompe l'oeil dome murals in the Renaissance. This perspective painting technique influenced later generations and became an important element of the Baroque painting style in the next century.
Ansel Adams
Artists · United States
Ansel Easton Adams (English: Ansel Easton Adams, February 20, 1902 - April 22, 1984, also translated as Ansel Adams) was an American photographer and environmentalist born in San Francisco. In the photography community f/64, which he helped to found, masters such as Edward Weston, Willard Van Dyke, and Imogen Cunningham can be seen. He proposed the technical concept of "area system" and believed that photographers should use changes in light to control the density look and feel of negatives and photographic paper. Adams also advocated the concept of "visualization" (he also often called it "pre-visualization", but this term was not accepted by later generations), which means that the perception of a photo depends on the measurement of light, which is determined at the moment the scene is captured in the lens.

He was the son-in-law and student of the Roman archaeologist Jacopo Bellini. Andrea made many experiments with perspective in order to create a grander and more shocking visual effect. For example, in "Lamentation of the Dead Christ" he chose to depict the body of Christ from the perspective of Christ's feet. The metallic feel of his landscapes and the stone texture of some of the figures attest to the way painters of the time painted based on the principles of statues.
