Haruna Ai

Haruna Ai (Japanese: Haruna Ai, July 21, 1972 -), formerly known as Onishi Kenji, is a Japanese transgender female comedian, female singer, and entrepreneur. Born in Hirano Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. The agency he belongs to is SUNS ENTERTAINMENT. She was born male, but has longed to be a real woman since she was a child. In 1995, she underwent gender reassignment surgery. In 2007, at the "Wedding of the Century" between Tomonori Jinuchi and Norika Fujiwara, he performed as a guest and imitated Aya Matsuura, which attracted attention and became popular. In 2009, she won the championship of the international transgender beauty pageant "Miss International Queen", becoming the first Japanese to win this honor.
