Bruce Springsteen (English: Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen, September 23, 1949 -) is an American male rock singer-songwriter and musician. He is known as "The Boss" and "Worker Emperor". Springsteen frequently writes and tours with the E Street Band, as well as performing solo and with other musicians. On the one hand, he is obviously influenced by Elvis Presley, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Eddie Cochran and Bob Dylan, and on the other hand, he is also influenced by rock music and rhythm and blues since the 1960s. Springsteen's music is also called "Heartland rock", with a pop flavor, poetic lyrics, and American patriotism, especially centered around his hometown of New Jersey. He expresses the lives of ordinary people in the middle and lower classes not only with sincerity from the heart, but also with melodious melodies and spicy and direct criticism, which has won him 20 Grammy Awards, 2 Golden Globe Awards, and 1 Academy Award. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1999. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him the 23rd greatest artist of all time. He received the Kennedy Center Honor Award in 2009 and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016. Springsteen's most famous studio albums "Born in the U.S.A." and "Born to Run" aptly illustrate his attempt to tell through songs that even when ordinary people are caught in the difficulties of daily life, they can still face it nobly and solve it. Springsteen often writes lyrics about how people survive financially. He is also increasingly recognized by radical political supporters. He spared no effort in various relief activities, just like after the 9/11 incident, he immediately released the album "The Rising" in response. Springsteen attempted to create a mix of commercially oriented rock music and ironic country music. There is a big reason for his far-reaching fame and popularity: marathon concerts, which often last more than four hours, with endless energy running through the entire venue, whether it is passionate love songs or famous songs that drive fans crazy.

Hypatia (Ancient Greek: Ὑπατία, born between about 350 and 370, died in March 415) was a Neoplatonist scholar in the late Roman Empire. She was a famous and popular female philosopher, mathematician, astronomer, astrologer and teacher at that time. She lived in Alexandria, an Egyptian district, and made great contributions to the city's intellectual community. According to later research, she had commented on Diophantus's Arithmetica, Apollonius's Conics, and Ptolemy's works, but none of them have survived. Her intellectual background can be seen from the letters written to her by her student Synesis: she belonged to the Platonic school - although we can only assume that she had adopted the teachings of Plotinus (Plotinus was a disciple of Plato in the third century AD and the founder of the Neoplatonic school). There is also some evidence that Hypatia's most famous contribution to science was the invention of the hydrometer. She was eventually tortured and killed by the mob. In 2009, Hypatia's life was adapted into the Spanish film "Gone with the Storm" and put on the screen.
