Lemmy, whose real name is Ian Fraser Kilmister (December 24, 1945 - December 28, 2015), is a British rock/heavy metal singer, bassist, songwriter, music producer and actor. He is the founder and leader of the Grammy Award-winning rock band Motorhead, serving as the lead singer and bassist. His musical style and lifestyle made him a legend. He has a strong personal image, including clothing that combines the characteristics of rock, drag racers, western cowboys and military officers, a straightforward and rebellious attitude, and the sideburns that have remained unchanged for 30 years, becoming one of the symbols of heavy metal and rock music. He began to join several bands at the age of 18, became Jimi Hendrix's technician at the age of 22, and founded his own band Motorhead at the age of 30, becoming a pioneer of the speed metal genre. At the age of 35, his work topped the UK album charts, reaching the peak of his career. He has since become a legend in the music industry and was ranked 18th among the "50 Most Important Heavy Metal Rock Figures in History" by Loudness Conductor magazine. He spent most of his time recording and touring until he died of cancer at the end of December 2015 at the age of 70. In addition to his distinctive and rough rock music style: "sex, drugs, gambling", Lemmy is more well-known for his uninhibited lifestyle. He has been addicted to alcohol for a long time and often consumed the psychedelic drugs LSD and amphetamines. Lemmy also never had a long-term, stable relationship after his girlfriend, Susan Bennett, died of a drug overdose at 19, so he never married. He is also a collector of military weapons and Nazi memorabilia, and sometimes wears Nazi symbols on his body. In this regard, he said that he did not understand topics such as racism. He just thought that the things used by bad guys were cool: "Collecting Nazi memorabilia does not mean that I am a fascist or a skinhead. I just like those clothes. I have always liked good-looking uniforms, and in history, the uniforms of bad guys are always the best: Napoleon, the Allies and the Nazi Party." He also stated that he was a liberal or anarchist and did not support Nazi ideals.
