Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE, is a British singer-songwriter, music producer and actor. Ed was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and grew up in Frillingham, Suffolk. At the age of 18, he attended college at Guildford College of Contemporary Music. In early 2011, Ed independently released the mini album "No. 5 Collaborations Project". In the same year, he signed with Shelter Records and released his debut studio album "Infinite Extension" on September 9, 2011. The album was certified 8 platinum sales in the UK, and its single "A Coffee" was nominated for the 55th Grammy Award for Song of the Year, and Ed won the Ivor Novello Award for "Best Song Lyrics". In 2012, Ed won the BRIT Awards for "Best British Solo Artist" and "Best British Breakthrough Artist".
