Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean (English: Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean, January 19, 1946 - August 25, 2026) was an American female singer, songwriter, actress, businessman and philanthropist. She was famous for her country music creation and singing. Dolly Parton made her debut in 1967 with her album Hello, I'm Dolly. She managed to achieve steady success throughout the remainder of the 1960s, both solo and with Porter Wagner. Her sales and chart success peaked in the 1970s and continued into the 1980s, with Dolly recording lower album sales in the late 1990s. Since the 2000s, however, she has achieved commercial success, including albums released on independent labels since 2000, including those on Dolly Records, which she founded.
