Georges Bizet
Musicians · France
Georges Bizet (French: Georges Bizet, pronounced: [ʒɔʁʒ bizɛ]; born Alexandre César Léopold Bizet; October 25, 1838 - June 3, 1875) was a French composer during the Romantic period. He was an opera composer who died young, and his composition career was not smooth during his lifetime. After his death, his final work, Carmen, became one of the most popular and most frequently performed works in the entire operatic repertoire. Bizet received many awards while studying at the Paris Conservatoire, including the prestigious Prix de Rome in 1857. He was recognized as an outstanding pianist in the academy, but he did not make a living playing the piano and rarely played in public. After studying in Italy for nearly three years, he returned to Paris and discovered that the Paris Opera favored famous and established operas over budding composers. As a result, most of his keyboard and orchestral works were ignored by the opera houses of the time, causing his career to stagnate and he needed to make a living by arranging and arranging other people's music. Even so, he still desired success and wrote many plays in the 1860s, most of which were abandoned. The two operas he composed during this period - "The Pearl Fishers" and "Le Belle Dame Perth" - were not premiered. During the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871, Bizet served in the National Guard. After the war, his one-act opera "Jamile" was not successful. However, the incidental music he wrote for Alphonse Daudet's play "Les d'Allais" was adapted into an orchestral suite and became popular among the public. Bizet was concerned that Carmen's themes of betrayal and murder would offend audiences, so he delayed production of Carmen. After its premiere on March 3, 1875, Bizet was convinced that the work was a failure. Three months later he died of a heart attack. Bizet was happily married to his wife, Genevieve Allévi, and they had a son. After his death, except for "Carmen", his works were generally ignored by the public. His manuscripts were lost and his works were often rewritten and adapted by others. He founded no school, trained no disciples, and had no successors. After being ignored for many years, his works began to gain popularity and be performed more frequently in the 20th century. After his death, critics praised him as a talented and original composer and considered his early death a great loss to the French opera world.

Musicians · russian empire
Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov (Russian: Александр Константинович Глазунов, Romanized: Aleksandr Konstantinovič Glazunov (August 10, 1865 - March 21, 1936), also translated as Glazunov, Glazunov, Glaznov, Russian composer, music educator and conductor. He served as director of the St. Petersburg Conservatory from 1906 to 1917. He later participated in the reorganization of the Petrograd Conservatory and later the Leningrad Conservatory and continued to serve as director until 1930. Glazunov's most famous student during his tenure as dean was Dmitri Shostakovich. In 1928, Glazunov left the Soviet Union and traveled to Europe and the United States, finally settling in Paris. Glazunov became famous quite early. His early works were close to the style of the powerful group. Later, he tried to integrate the strong group and Tchaikovsky styles in his works, and made extensive use of counterpoint. Glazunov's musical orchestration is rich in color, melodies are beautiful, and his writing skills are superb. Glazunov was essentially an instrumental composer, especially known for his orchestral, ballet and chamber music. He is also a rare Russian composer who wrote organ works. Glazunov was once ignored and forgotten in the history of music, and his works were rarely performed or recorded in public. Glazunov's nine symphonies, like Gustav Mahler's nine symphonies, were once regarded as unworthy of discussion and insignificant symphonic creations in the history of music because they were neither avant-garde nor classical enough. However, as the historical positioning of Mahler's symphonies gradually settled, the world's music industry finally began to be curious about the value of the symphonies left by Glazunov and re-evaluate them. In the late 20th century, his complete symphonies and orchestral works have become the most astonishing to senior classical music fans. They have asked many questions, but they have been suffering from a set of "missing links" that cannot be collected. Glazunov's works have sweet and romantic melodies, rich orchestrations, and rich Russian sentiments. As an important link in the history of symphony between Tchaikovsky's Russian romantic school and Shostakovich's modern music school, many record companies and conductors began competing to record the complete works of Glazunov's symphonies at the same time.

Musicians · Kingdom of Prussia
Arthur Schopenhauer (German: Arthur Schopenhauer, pronunciation: [ˈaʁtuːɐ̯ ˈʃoːpn̩haʊɐ]; February 22, 1788 - September 21, 1860) was a German philosopher and the founder of voluntarism. His ideas had a profound influence on modern academic and cultural circles. Unlike his contemporaries Fichte, Schelling, and Hegel, Schopenhauer did not eliminate the thing-in-itself. He inherited Kant's distinction between the thing-in-itself and representation, believing that it can be known through intuition, and identifying it as will. Schopenhauer believed that will is independent of time and space. It also includes all reason and knowledge. We can only get rid of it through meditation. Schopenhauer linked his famous philosophy of pessimism to this doctrine, arguing that being dominated by the will ultimately only brings nothingness and suffering. His repressed, distorted understanding of the mind's surrender to organs, desires, and impulses inspired later psychoanalysis and psychology.
