Thomas J. Watson (English: Thomas J. Watson, February 17, 1874 - June 19, 1956), whose full name is Thomas John Watson, Sr., was an American businessman, founder and first chairman of the technology giant IBM (International Business Machines Corporation). CEO, he served as the first chief executive of International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) from 1914 to 1956, leading IBM to develop into an internationally renowned business organization from the 1920s to the 1950s. He practices an effective management style.
