George Soros
George Soros (Esperanto: George Soros, August 12, 1930 -), whose real name is Schwartz György (Hungarian: Schwartz György), was formerly translated as Sauros György, is a Hungarian-born American Jewish businessman, currency speculator, stock investor, progressive political and social activist and philosopher. Soros is chairman of Soros Fund Management and the Open Society Institute and a former member of the board of directors of the Council on Foreign Relations. In the 2021 list of the 400 richest people in the United States, he ranked 92nd with assets of US$8.6 billion.
