John Francis "Jack" Welch, Jr. (English: John Francis "Jack" Welch, Jr., November 19, 1935 - March 1, 2020), also translated as Jack Welch, was an American entrepreneur who served as the eighth CEO of General Electric (GE, General Electric) from 1981 to 2001. During his tenure, he increased the company's revenue to $410 billion, and was known as "Neutron Jack".
