Stephen Gordon Hendry, MBE (English: Stephen Gordon Hendry, January 13, 1969 -), former professional snooker legend. He is deeply loved by snooker fans around the world. After his retirement, he actively participated in the commentary of major tournaments with Steve Davis, another top and great snooker legend, and created "cue tips" on his personal Instagram to provide batting and positioning instruction. Even after retiring, he still spared no effort in the snooker field. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has won the Snooker World Championship 7 times, the British Snooker Championship 5 times, and the Snooker Wembley Masters 6 times, winning a total of 5 Snooker Grand Slam records. His seven World Championship wins are the most in the world since there are official video records (in the 1960s). He is recognized as the greatest player in the history of billiards and is known as the "Snooker Emperor". The creation of his "offensive style of play" had a profound impact on the football world. At his peak, he had excellent ball control and defensive abilities, as well as strong psychological quality and error correction ability. His tough style and steady style are deeply loved by fans, and he also has extremely accurate middle pocket/side pocket scoring ability, which helped him almost dominate the entire snooker world in the 1990s. In his career, he has broken 100 strokes in 776 strokes (as of the 2021 Snooker World Championship), including 11 single strokes with a perfect score of 147.
