Diognostus of Alexandria
Theognostus of Alexandria (English: Theognostus of Alexandria, 210-270), ancient Greek theologian. As the leader of the catechetical school in Alexandria, the academic center at that time, he wrote a lot of religious works, among which "Summum of the Doctrine of the Faith" became a powerful tool for orthodox factions to debate Arians at the Council of Nicaea in the 4th century AD.
