Aenesidemos (Ancient Greek: Αἰνησίδημος, Ainêsidemos, 1st century BC -?) was a Greek skeptical philosopher in the 1st century BC who was born in Knossos, Crete. He is one of the representatives of Pyrrhonism. His main work is "Pyrrhoneia" (Πυρρώνειοι λóγοι). The core ideas of the book are four points, which are to discuss the reasons for skepticism, to demonstrate the causal relationship and truth, to describe a physical theory and an ethical theory. The first point is particularly important, for which he proposed the "Ten-Point Theory of Suspension of Judgment", in which he gave the top ten reasons for doubt.
