Ai Otsuka
Ōtsuka Ai (Japanese: Ōtsuka like/Otsuka love, Romanized: Ōtsuka Ai, September 9, 1982 -) is a Japanese female singer-songwriter. She belongs to the company Nippon Aibex. She was born in Suminoe District, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Together with Ayumi Hamasaki, Kumi Koda, and BoA of the same company, she was one of the representatives of female singers in Japan in the 2000s. Ai Otsuka debuted in 2003, and soon became famous with her second single "Cherry". The single stayed in the top 200 on the Oricon singles weekly chart for 103 weeks, and later became one of the must-sing songs in Japanese karaoke. His representative works include "Cherry", "Happy Days", "Goldfish Fireworks", "SMILY", "Astrology", "Love Portrait", "Kissing Tulips", etc. Its composition style is funny or cheerful, but there are still some lyrical songs, and the melody often has an orchestra style; the lyrics are close to life, or there is still a funny style of its style, which can be clearly understood from the music videos of some songs. For example, in the video of "Super☆Optimistic", the song is performed wearing a nonsensical afro wig. It is not difficult to see the highly creative association in the song title. Ai Otsuka wrote lyrics and composed music under the name "Ai" until 2010. After 2012, she switched to the name "AIO" and "aio".
