Lido Anthony Iacocca (English: Lido Anthony Iacocca, October 15, 1924 - July 2, 2019), nicknamed Lee Iacocca, was an Italian-American entrepreneur. He successively served as the general manager of Ford Motor Company, president of Chrysler Motor Company, and the person in charge of the development of Ford's classic sports car "Ford Mustang". During his tenure as president of Chrysler, he successfully turned the company around and earned the title of "Hero of American Industry." In recent years, "Iacocca" has also begun to be commonly used as a metaphor for "an entrepreneur who turns a company's operations from losses to profits."
