Pythagoras (Greek: Πυθαγόρας, 570 BC - 495 BC) was an ancient Greek philosopher, mathematician, and music theorist, and the founder of Pythagoreanism. Pythagoras believed that mathematics could explain everything in the world, and was obsessed with numbers to the point of worship; he also believed that all truths could be reflected and confirmed by proportions, squares, and right triangles: for example, he believed that the square number "100" meant "justice." Pythagoreanism refers to the esoteric and metaphysical ideological doctrines he and his followers held. They were all deeply influenced by mathematics, such as the numerology of life, rainbow numerology, and life blueprint numerology.
