Ding Xilin (September 29, 1893 - April 4, 1974), formerly known as Xie Lin and given the courtesy name Xunfu, male, was born in Taixing, Jiangsu Province. He was a Chinese playwright, physicist, musical instrument craftsman, and social activist. He was especially good at comedy creation.
