Hadj Michael Gerard "Mike" Tyson (English: Hadj Michael Gerard "Mike" Tyson, born on June 30, 1966 in New York City, United States, is a former professional boxer who has won the world heavyweight championship and is considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers in history. In his early years, he was nicknamed "Iron Mike" and "Kid Dynamite", and later became known as "the Baddest Man on the Planet". In his heyday, he defeated famous opponents many times with a devastating style and was once one of the most threatening boxers. But his career prospects were derailed by personal problems, lack of training and two incarcerations. While in prison he attempted to resume his career, but failed to win against high-profile opponents. Tyson fought his last match with boxer Kevin McBride on June 11, 2005, but it also ended in failure, so he decided to retire from boxing forever. After retiring, he turned to the entertainment industry and starred in many movies.
