Zlatan Ibrahimović (Swedish: Zlatan Ibrahimović, born 3 October 1981; Swedish pronunciation: [ˈslaːtan ɪbraˈhiːmɔvɪtɕ]; Serbian-Croatian pronunciation: [zlǎtan ibraxǐːmoʋitɕ] ), a retired Swedish football player who plays as a center or forward and winner of the 12th Swedish Ballon d'Or. He is also the former captain of the Swedish national football team. Before retiring, Ibrahimovic played for Serie A team AC Milan and played for many top European teams. In 2009, he joined La Liga team Barcelona for about 70 million euros. At that time, it was the most expensive acquisition in the history of La Liga team Barcelona. Except for the Swiss Super League Ma Mo and the Premier League Manchester United, he has won the league championship in all the leagues he has played in. Even though he did not win the league championship for the team during his joining Manchester United, he still brought the team the English League Cup and European League double championships within one season. He is also the only player in the history of European football to score in the UEFA Champions League while playing for 6 different clubs. In his career, he has helped his team win league championships for eight consecutive years, and has won league championships in the Eredivisie, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1 in his career. After joining the Los Angeles Galaxy, he also completed an amazing record - scoring in his first game in seven leagues including the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, French Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Swiss Super League, US Professional League and the Champions League. He scored against Cagliari on January 12, 2020. This goal also allowed Iba to set multiple records. This was the 537th goal of his career. From 1990 to 2020, he scored in three decades, and he scored in each decade; at the same time, he also became the fifth oldest player to score a goal in Serie A at the age of 38 years and 100 days. On June 4, 2023, Ibrahimovic announced that he would hang up his boots and retire, ending his 24-year football career.
