Ronaldinho
Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (Portuguese: Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, March 21, 1980 -), usually called Ronaldinho (Ronaldinho, Portuguese pronunciation: [ʁonawˈdʒĩɲu], meaning "Little Ronaldo") or Ronaldinho Gaucho (Ronaldinho) Gaúcho (Portuguese pronunciation: [ʁonawˈdʒĩɲu gaˈuʃu]) was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He is one of the legendary superstars in world football. He currently plays for Ravenna FC in Serie C and serves as the global ambassador of Barcelona. Since there was already a famous player named Ronaldo in Brazil before he became famous [Note 1], he is often called Ronaldinho Gaúcho ("Ronaldinho Gaucho") in foreign language circles (especially in Brazil). In the Chinese-speaking circle, Ronaldinho's nickname is "Ronaldo" to distinguish him from another Brazilian star "Ronaldo" - Ronaldo. Ronaldinho is good at attacking midfield and wing positions. He was one of the members of the Brazilian team that won the 2002 World Cup. He reached the pinnacle of his career while playing for Barcelona, where he was widely regarded as one of the most technical players in football history. He won the honor of World Footballer for two consecutive years in 2004 and 2005; he was elected European Footballer of the Year in 2005 and became the best player of the first International Professional Footballers Association in the same year. In 2013, at the age of 33, he defeated Brazilian star Nima, who won the award in 2011 and 2012, to win the South American Footballer of the Year. This was the first time Ronaldinho won this honor, and he also became the first player to win the European Footballer of the Year and the South American Footballer of the Year. Ronaldinho is one of the very few players who has achieved iconic achievements in both European and South American football. In 2006, he led Barcelona to win the second UEFA Champions League title in the club's history, and Barcelona also admitted that they bought Ronaldinho to reform the team. In South America, after Ronaldinho joined Minneiro, Minneiro also made rapid progress, first winning the runner-up of the Brazilian Football League in 2012, and the following year they won the first South American Liberty Cup championship in the club's history and the third place in the World Champions Club Cup. After leaving professional football in 2015, Ronaldinho announced at the end of 2017 that he would officially retire in 2018. Ronaldinho has excellent ball control and dribbling skills
