In the mid-1960s, he joined Bundesliga team Kaiserslautern and became one of the few foreign players in Germany at the time. Prince's first national team match was the Netherlands' 4-0 friendly win over Czechoslovakia in Prague on November 30, 1960. His 10th and last international match was the Netherlands' 0-0 draw with Switzerland in a World Cup qualifying match in Amsterdam on November 17, 1965.
