Cao Naiqian (1949-), formerly known as Cao Naitian, is a native of Mayu Village, Ying County, Shanxi Province. He is a contemporary Chinese writer who has a wide influence at home and abroad. His works have been translated into English, French, German, Japanese, Swedish and other languages.
