Grace Kelly
Grace Patricia Kelly (English: Grace Patricia Kelly; November 12, 1929 - September 14, 1982), Princess of Monaco, was born in Philadelphia, United States. She was an American film actress, philanthropist, Oscar-winning actress, and the princess consort of Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Grace Kelly's short film career lasted only about six years. She won the 26th Academy Award for Best Actress in 1954 for "The Country Girl" when she was only 25 years old. Two years later, she married Prince Rainier and became the Prince and Princess of Monaco; she died in a car accident in 1982 at the age of 53. Grace Kelly has not appeared since her marriage to Prince Rainier in 1956. In 1999, the American Film Institute selected her as the 13th greatest actress of the past century. The French luxury brand Hermès’ Kelly bag is named after Grace Kelly.
