Lars Onsager (Norwegian: Lars Onsager, November 27, 1903 - October 5, 1976) was a Norwegian-born American chemist. He won the 1968 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for discovering the general relationship of non-equilibrium thermodynamics and proposing the reciprocity relationship.
