Shen Tianhui (April 27, 1923 - January 2, 2011) was a Chinese semiconductor chemist. Born in Jiashan, Zhejiang, native of Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering of Shanghai Datong University in 1949. From 1957 to 1959, he went to the Soviet Union for further study. He once served as a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 1980, he was elected as a member (academician) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
