Gao Zhentong (November 15, 1928 - January 21, 2025), a Chinese expert on structural fatigue science. Born in Beijing, originally from Duchang, Jiangxi. Graduated from the Department of Aviation of Beiyang University in 1950. Professor at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. In 1991, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (member of the academic department).
