Shirley Kwan Suk Yee (English: Shirley Kwan Suk Yee; August 15, 1966 -), Hong Kong female singer. In his early years, he went to Japan to participate in a singing competition. After winning the championship, he made his debut in the music circles of Hong Kong and Japan at the same time. He became an instant hit with his original Cantonese song "A Rare Lover". The style of the song gradually evolved from the initial commercial pop to alternative psychedelic songs. With her unique breathy singing and articulation method, she became an avant-garde indicator of the Hong Kong music scene in the 1990s. Her 1995 cover album "EX All Time Favorites" further established her position in the Hong Kong music scene. Unfortunately, due to his bad relationship with the entertainment media, negative news emerged, coupled with his "artist personality" and unwillingness to compromise, which hindered his development in the music industry. He retired from the music scene twice and then came back. In April 2020, he announced his retirement from the music scene.
