Dhondup Wangchen (English: Dhondup Wangchen, October 17, 1974 -), also translated as Dondup Wangchen (Tibetan: དོན་གྲུབ་དབང་ཆེན་, Wiley transliterated: don grub dbang Chen) is a Tibetan filmmaker and the photographer of the Tibetan documentary "No More Fear". In March 2008, shortly after completing the film, Dangzhi Xiangqian and Jigme Gyatso were arrested by China. On December 28, 2009, he was sentenced to 6 years in prison in Xining, Qinghai, for inciting separatism. Dangzhi Xiangqian and Bhikkhu Jigme Gyatso co-produced "No More Fear", and the content of "No More Fear" mainly focuses on ordinary Tibetans' views on the 14th Dalai Lama, the Chinese government, the 2008 Summer Olympics, and Han immigrants. When the videotape was sent to Switzerland, Xiangqian and Jigme Gyatso were arrested during the 2008 riots in Tibetan areas. After Dang Zhixiangqian was sentenced to six years in prison, many international human rights organizations protested against the Chinese government's actions, including Amnesty International, which called Dangzhi Xiangqian a "prisoner of conscience." In 2012, Xiang Qian was awarded the International Press Freedom Award.
