Johan Marius Nicolaas Heesters (Dutch: Johan Marius Nicolaas Heesters; December 5, 1903 – December 24, 2011), whose stage name was Johannes Heesters, was born in the Netherlands. He was a stage, television, and film actor, as well as a voice actor and concert performer in many works. His career can be traced back to 1921. Since the mid-1930s, Heisst has only been active in the German-speaking world, causing great controversy due to various actions during World War II and its great success in Nazi Germany.
