Taiichi Ohno (Japanese: Ohno Taiichi/Ono Taiichi, February 29, 1912 - May 28, 1990) was born in Dalian, China. He was an entrepreneur and former vice president of Toyota Motor Corporation. He was an important figure in systematizing the Toyota Production System (TPS).
