Glenn Edward Lee Beck (English: Glenn Edward Lee Beck, February 10, 1964 -) is a famous American network television producer, media personality, radio host, author, entrepreneur, and political commentator. He is known as a conservative political commentator. Green Baker's national radio talk show became a hit across the United States. He hosted a television program under the same name as Greene Baker on HLN from January 2006 to October 2008. The program moved to Fox News in January 2009. Baker is the author of six New York Times bestsellers. Baker is also the CEO of Mercury Broadcasting Arts, a multimedia production company and the parent company of its television and radio network Flame Media, where he advises on the company's radio, television, publications, stage, online and other products. On April 6, 2011, Baker announced that he would be retiring from his regular Fox News show at the end of the year, but would co-produce programs with Fox. Baker's last show on the network was June 30, 2011. Baker's supporters praise him as a loyal defender of American values, while critics accuse him of promoting conspiracy theories and using inflammatory rhetoric to boost his own ratings.
